The event lasted 3 days, and took place in Atlanta, Georgia, in the World Congress Center. More than 400 international companies were at the show, of which about fifty companies who are also present the whole year on expometals.net. The affluence of visitors was good, attendees came from more than 50 countries around the world.
Some national delegations participated in the event: Advantage Austria, that provides business development services for Austrian companies and their international business partners, WCISA, the North American Wire and Cable Industry Suppliers Association and ACIMAF, the Italian Wire and Cable Machines Manufacturers Association. The exhibit included also a Chinese pavilion. During Interwire two new companies decided to join the international online network expometals.net, showing their brand and products on our portal: the Italian company WTM Wire Technology Machinery, specialized in taping and stranding lines, and the Spanish FLYMCA, that manufactures stranding and cabling machinery and equipment (its sister company Flyro, trading used and revised machinery, was already a member of expometals).
