GEL was founded in 1968 by the brothers Enrico and Luigi Giussani. Since then, the company has been manufacturing a wide and diverse range of steel wire products.
Using modern machinery and equipment, the company is able to carry out a wide range of machining operations and processes, mostly using forming tools and dies designed and produced in house by our own Tooling Department. This allows us to offer effective tailor-made solutions designed together with our customers. The extreme flexibility of our organization makes it possible for us to manufacture both very small and very large production batches.
Our products are used in a large number of sectors and industries, including: Agricultural and gardening machinery - Agriculture - Automotive - Motorcycles - Building and civil engineering - Infrastructural engineering - Cable-based transit systems (cable cars, chair lifts, etc.) - Naval engineering – Electrotechnical engineering - Packaging - Livestock - Domestic appliances - Wine production - Furniture industry - HV and LV power lines - Telecommunications lines - Railway lines - Satellite signal reception equipment.
Pins, hooks, eyelets, U-bolts, stud bolts, anchor bolts, foundation bolts, rods, pins, tie rods, threaded bars, both in standard (DIN 975) and in special lengths, with or without chamfered ends (DIN 976). Control and operation levers in 2D or 3D configurations. Rivets and similar cold-formed items. Wire diameters ranging from 2.00 to 100.00.
Threads on average or nominal diameter ranging between 3MA and 27MA. Wide range of threads, including coarse MA, fine MB, GAS, WOOD, WITHWORTH, LH, RH threads. Knurling and indentations to customer’s design. Our cable U-bolt series ranges from dia. 4 MA x 1/8" to dia. 20 MA x 2". Our light, medium and heavy duty pipe U-bolt series covers the range from 1/8" to 20".
