Focus on the new Condoroil's chemical products

Upstream toward the current trends of the market, Condoroil researches and develops products for each of the applications requested in order to furnish to its users a product that can respond fully to the production demands also by solving all the unavoidable problems emerging at the beginning and at the end of the process. 
As a demonstration of this, Condoroil Chemical is pleased to introduce five new formulations:

CONDORLUBE LR 110 synthetic coolant
Condorlube LR 110 is a biostable coolant with a fast solubility in water making easy the preparation of the emulsion.
It provides also an excellent wettability of the surfaces, good rust preventive properties, low foam and an excellent cleaning. In view of its transparency it can be used in grinding processes (2-4%) and, thanks to its lubricating  properties, it is used also in tube forming (4-8%) and in removal of chips. The product is free of mineral oils, chloroparaffins and polymeric lubricants.

CONDORCOAT CF 670
CONDORCOAT CF 670 is the new product designed by Condoroil Chemical for the passivation of hot dip galvanized steel coils. Main characteristics of the product are the following:

- totally free of chromium (and heavy metals in general);
- possibility to process the coil in colour coating lines (the product is a good pretreatment compound).

The absence of chromium, even trivalent, gives the following advantages:

- no chromium on the surface – necessary condition when presence of this metal is banned;
- no risk of hexavalent chromium formation on the coil surface in oxidizing and alkaline environments.

The possibility to over paint in coil coating lines allows:

- to use the same product, when coils have to be sold or painted, in hot dip galvanizing lines;
- to slit the galvanized coil and obtain, as byproduct, narrow passivated coils that can be sold on the market;
- to recover, by following painting, coils with surface defects which make them unsaleable as passivated.

CONDORCOAT CF 670 has a good corrosion resistances, in line with general market demands. With a deposit equal to 0.4-0.6 g/ m2 it is possible to guarantee less than 5% of white rust after an exposition of 72 hours of salt spray fog. The product also guarantees a good resistance of paint on the cut after 500 h of exposure in salt spray fog (5 Microns Primer + 20 Microns Top Coat Polyester). CONDORCOAT CF 670 is one of a kind product that has revolutionized the world of passivating. The product, on the contrary to common acid passivating, has a neutral pH and it is based on innovative and advanced chemistry. Performances of Condorcoat Cf 670 are guaranteed by synergy between resin
and titanium based nanodispersions. The combination of physical protection of the resin film and the titanium based passivated coating, guarantees corrosion resistance. Presence of silane features promotes paint adhesion, making product ideal for any application.

MANGANESE ACTIVATOR
In order to avoid the typical problems connected to the use of activators for manganese phosphating in powder, Condoroil has recently designed a liquid formula named ACTICOND HP 15 P. The new product, patent pending, is obtained through a particular grinding cycle at humid and dispersion with cowless unit. Besides the practical advantages to be extremely easy to dose and disperse, the product has also the very appreciated characteristic to be able to adjust in a precise way the phosphating layer. This allows to reach deposits lower than 4 g/m2 while guaranteeing a compact and uniform surface. This result is much evident from the pictures here below made by SEM.



CONDORLUBE RO 12
CONDORLUBE RO12 is the new reactive lubricant, to be used in the machine, which forms on steel surfaces an inorganic coating suitable to draw profiles and tubes when high finishing standards are required. The main characteristic of Condorlube RO12 is the possibility to reduce numbers of cycles for the preparation of the drawing surfaces in a single stage. Its special formula allows to produce simultaneously an inorganic barrier that links
lubricants and additives contained. Fields of application: tube design with Schumag equipment

DESCALINOX GEL NF
Condoroil has recently designed a new product – Descalinox Gel NF – to reduce to very low values the emissions of nitrogen oxides, generally called NOx, although containing optimal concentration of nitric acid for a quick treatment also towards very tough oxides. Wording NF means NOx FREE, which is the main characteristic that characterizes this product among our gels containing nitric acid. Product is available in packaging of 5,25,250 and 1200 kg.
