Steel overcapacity in China. Condoroil at the Galvanizing and Coil Coating conference

Condoroil joined the 20th Galvanizing and Coil Coating conference which took place in Istanbul on September 7-8.

Steel producers, service centers and traders met and discussed the challenge of overcapacity from China and the implications this is having on the market.

Commercial and technical presentations have been given on many topics such as Focus on R&D into new products and processes for the automotive sector:

- developments in coatings and technologies to meet changing end-user requirements;
- future zinc supply and subsequent pricing movements;
- the role of galvanized and coated steel products in the increased demand for renewable energy sources and many others.
