Zero water discharge in coil coating lines: Artemis

Zero water discharge in coil coating lines: Artemis

ARTEMIS is the new unit designed by Condoroil Stainless for the waste minimization and zero water discharge in prepainting coil lines.

The unit is divided into 4 different sections:

Degreasing section: unit MINERVA to keep the degreasing solution constantly clean.

Rinse section: the last rinsing water is preferably heated to facilitate drying of the coil surface and is kept constantly demineralized by a recycling unit with ion exchange resins, IONEX RX HT.

Pretreatment section: No Rinse chemicals are used which do not require rinsing stage nor solution drains. The working solutions are prepared in proper systems by dilution of the concentrate with demi water coming from the reverse osmosis unit CONDORDEMI.

Quench section: kept constantly clean and demineralized with the combination of two treatment stages PAINTDEPUR that eliminates all organic components of waters from the quench; while in the second stage the IONEX RX HT unit allows to eliminate the saline substances.

The ARTEMIS unit allows to get important technical and economic advantages:

- Constantly excellent degreasing action.
- Drastic reduction in degreaser consumption.
- Drastic reduction in energy consumption.
- Drastic reduction in water consumption.
- Excellent quality of rinse water.
- Reduced maintenance required on tanks and exchangers, in particular on quench section.
The complete brochure of the unit is available in digital or hard copy. ([email protected])
