Focused on the finest detail: Defremm at Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2015

Since 1980 Defremm has specialized in cold forming production from carbon steel, aluminum, alloy, copper, brass and stainless steel wire from 2mm to 18mm. Located in the North of Italy, the company manufactures special parts to customer drawings, as well as standard fasteners such as blind rivets and rivet nuts.

At Fastener Fair Stuttgart Defremm will present its product range of small metal parts for a spectrum of highly specialized applications. These include fasteners for brakes, locks, doors, roof systems and engines in the automotive industry. The company also makes parts for household appliances as well as fittings for plumbing, window and door frames, sports equipment and general mechanical applications. The company also produces standard fasteners including rivet nuts and blind rivets.
 
Thanks to the constant improvement in technology and the efforts of Defremm's R&D team, the company is increasingly focusing its efforts on cold forming solutions in stainless steel. Defremm has a wide range of horizontal heading machines having from 2 to 6 stations. With a view to meeting increasingly complex customer requirements it continually invests in advanced machinery for recovery, threading, punching, turning, assembly and optical control selection. Since 2003, Defremm has been certified according to ISO TS 16949.

The company's experienced team carries out technical and feasibility studies to co-design products together with clients. Defremm designs and builds the necessary tooling in its own workshop to manufacture initial samples and start standardized production.
