Assomac: "Our impressions of WIRE & CABLE India 2016"

Assomac: "Our impressions of WIRE & CABLE India 2016"

A few weeks after the participation in the trade show WIRE & CABLE India, we asked the Indian machinery manufacturer Assomac, based in Ghaziabad, near Delhi, their impressions about the event.

"At the outset we would like to congratulate Messe Düsseldorf's team for this very successful event. We are primarily engaged in import substitution and providing customers with cost effective highly efficient equipment. Our endeavor is to provide our customers with a single solution, being responsible for the supply of different wire manufacturing plants as a whole system. The exhibition was of great importance for us to present new products and discuss new requirements with existing and new customers."

How important are fairs for Assomac?
"Exhibitions are always a great asset for the wire community where we can share our thoughts to bring in the best for our existing and future clients. They are a common ground that provide an opportunity for communication with current customers, prospects, consultants, associate product manufacturers and suppliers. We have traditionally exhibited in all the wire shows held in India and this was no exception, at Assomac we believe to retain this tradition."
What about the business climate in India?

"Our Hall No.1 was packed with visitors. “Make in India” (the initiative launched in 2014 by the Indian Government to encourage multi-national companies to manufacture their products in India, Ed.) attracted many visitors from across the globe to see the exhibition and the changed business climate in the country. At Assomac's stall, which was fairly big, we displayed our machines and welcomed customers we've had for more than 3 decades who appreciated our extended kind of services. We feel it's our loyal customers who contribute to Assomac’s image both in India & overseas.
Definitely, in our view the exhibition benefitted exhibitors as well as visitors."
