Ernst Koch GmbH & CO. KG will be presenting itself at WIRE 2014 as a system supplier of complex production lines coupled with comprehensive customer service. In hall 10, at booths F22 and H39, Koch, one of the world's leading manufacturers of wire drawing machines, will be showing off its highly developed line of machines in their modular design.
Central to Koch’s trade fair showing is a machine line consisting of the KGT series multiple drawing machine, as well as modules for pre-processing wire, and a drawing coiler to take up the wire. This system produces low carbon (0.12% C) fencing and nail wire on a compact five-block machine. At production speeds of up to 22 m/s it can produce finished diameters of between 2,36 and 4,67 mm. In addition to the drawing machine, a grinding descaler and the Koch drawing coiler ensure high-quality wire which is permanently reproducible in its quality. A modular design allows users to build up the system to suit whatever requirements they might have. Koch will also be presenting a modern system for visualizing machine processes and an intuitive user interface, one of its own new developments. This system provides users with a comprehensive display and evaluation of all production and quality data, including a graphical indication of energy consumption and production output. Animated error messages draw attention to faults and what might be done to rectify them. Maintenance intervals are also displayed automatically.
