Niehoff expands in the field of stranding and founds subsidiary NST

With the establishment of its new subsidiary NIEHOFF Stranding Technology (NST), Maschinenfabrik Niehoff is expanding its activities into the field of stranding. NST headed by Sebastian Neuerer is located in the Barcelona area, Spain, and has a workforce of thirteen people in total. Most of them are focused on design/engineering and all of them have a profound knowledge in stranding machinery technology. NST is starting now with the development of a complete range of rotating equipment for stranding and cabling processes.
The projected equipment will complement Niehoff’s existing and proven systems for the stranding of data, power and special cables, which represent an experience of around 50 years.

Maschinenfabrik Niehoff develops and builds with an experience of more than 60 years all machinery needed for the production of non-ferrous metals wires and the further processing into automotive, power, data and special cables, with the exception of extruders.
