Flouropolymer Crossheads Series

This crosshead series can process fluoropolymers and technopolymers and are totally made of Hastelloy, in order to get higher corrosion and oxidation resistance.

The round shape ensures the proper heat transmission around the distributor, that is heated by rod or special ceramic band heaters.

The flow distributor has a high conicity in order to:

get a better cable centering;
get an easier distributor extraction;
reduce the shear rate.

The head is equipped with a vacuum connection predisposition. It can work in single layer as well as in coextrusion mode (insulation or jacketing + skin/stripe) and with a fixed centering, with the possibility to add a fine adjustment system from front.
