Nevinox SAW Wire for SMAW process by Nevatia Steel

Nevatia Steel is pleased to announce the launch of Nevinox brand Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) precision layer wound wire in stainless steel.
Wire will be supplied with following specifications:

- Sizes :1.60 mm - 5.00 mm
- Surfaces: Matte or Bright
- Packing: 25kgs or 60lbs, layer wound coils with core or H400 plastic spools or K415 metal wire baskets
- Grades: ER 308L, ER 309L, ER316L and others as per request.

Submerged arc welding wire is widely used in many fields, like boilers, nuclear power plants, chemical containers, bridges, ship building, pressure vessel among others.

SAW is usually operated as a fully mechanized or automatic process, but it can be semi-automatic.

Welding parameters: current, arc voltage and travel speed all affect bead shape, depth of penetration and chemical composition of the deposited weld metal.
