Weighpack: three new units and much more at Fastener Fair Stuttgart

Weighpack: three new units and much more at Fastener Fair Stuttgart

Weighpack is glad to announce its participation in the Fastener Fair Stuttgart, March 19-21, 2019

With over 45 years of experience in the fastener industry, Weighpack is specialized in the design and manufacture of high performance packaging systems for fasteners and technical parts. At the Fair, the company will take the opportunity to unveil three new units.

The WPVF270 bagmaker has a design identical to the existing bagmakers, but comes equipped with a servo drive to enable packaging speed up to 50 bag/minute (for small kit pack bags): The unwinding motor, the film pulling and the cross seal are driven by (Siemens) servo motors. In addition, the machine is especially suitable for single packs or kit-packs like 2 screws + 2 plugs – etc.

The company will introduce two new versions of the existing STW350 machine: STW200 and STW400. The former has been specifically designed for the semi-automatic repacking of smaller boxes (up to 10 kg). While originally the STW350 was conceived for American cases and KLT boxes up to 25 kg, Weighpack can now also offer the option of a smaller model. The feeding system is 200 mm wide and suited for product lengths up to 100/140 mm. (according to the feeding characteristics).
The model 400 instead, provides a good alternative to the original. Both versions now have different bulk and fine feed flaps to run small product more accurately. Small details of the machine have also been changed, such as the rotating air cylinders (which replace the linear ones) and a new control cabinet.

Also on display a new standalone Multi-Head Weigher, based on the model WPLCMH14-EXT, with extra wide buckets and vibratory trays, suited for longer products (like nails up to 100-120 mm).

Besides the new machines, Weighpack will also showcase an updated version of the models BFWC 400 & 650, which now features new control units.

Weighpack awaits you at Booth No. 3010, Hall 5.
