The global demand for transposed cables is booming

Proteco closed the 2023 financial year on a positive note, with new orders and deliveries scheduled for the current year and 2025. Many cable manufacturing companies are preparing for the booming global demand for transposed cables by increasing the capacity of existing lines or planning the installation of new transposed cable lines.

"The countries with the highest demand are India, China, and Turkey, but we have noticed a positive upswing in Europe and North America. In addition, there is also good demand from some Chinese customers, both long-standing and newly established, to replace local transposing machines by adding new machines by Proteco, in order to improve the line productivity and the quality of the transposed cable. At this time, Proteco is at full capacity, and the demand for single transposing machines and complete CTC lines continues to grow.."
