Carlo Salvi, a positive feedback from China

At the two trade fairs that have just come to an end in Shanghai, buyers confirm their appreciation for the Italian company.

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Carlo Salvi, a benchmark company in the field of fasteners production and wire heading solutions, exhibited at the International Fastener Show China from 3 to 5 November (booth nr. H1-1217) and at the China International Import Expo from 5 to 10 November (booth nr. 3C9-007).

The colleagues from Carlo Salvi’s subsidiary in Guangzhou and another colleague from Hatebur Shanghai attended the two exhibitions.

Marco Pizzi, Carlo Salvi C.C.O., speaks his mind about IFS China: “We were very sorry not to personally take part in the International Fastener Show China, but these hard times prevent us from operating as we have always done until now. However, the global presence of Carlo Salvi allows us to rely on the esteemed colleagues from our foreign branches, who represent us in an exemplary way. Chinese colleagues tell us that the number of both the exhibitors and the visitors were lower than in previous editions because of the pandemic. Nevertheless, the recovery of the Chinese economy and the commitment of our local agents to further expand our brand have increased the number of potential customers. We are satisfied with our performance, and we look to the future with optimism. Indeed, we have already decided to attend the next edition.”

Germano Pandiani, Carlo Salvi C.O.O., continues: “As far as the third edition of the CIIE is concerned, our Chinese delegates have informed us that Carlo Salvi was the only firm showcasing fasteners machines. Because of the health emergency, the audience was of course lower than in the previous edition, but it was still remarkable. After all, this event is comparable to an International Expo. Our presence at this fair was also positive, as it extends our business possibilities – not only in the fasteners field – and it increases our reputation in the East: CIIE in China is considered a very high-profile event.”
