WST Koradi, the exclusive WAFIOS representative in the Italian market for spring production machinery, would like to invite visitors to explore first-hand two high performance WAFIOS machines at its headquarters: the FMU 16+ multi-former and the FUL 16 coiling machine. Both machines will be available for customers who wish to delve deeper into their mechanical and software programming aspects starting from mid-July.

The WAFIOS FMU 16+ Multiformer introduces the latest evolution in programming software and instant simulation of the entire spring production cycle. It is the world's only series with such advanced and realistic simulation software for manufacturing torsion springs. Designed for torsion, tension, looped springs, and bent parts production, it offers new possibilities for spring manufacturers. The tool carriers can be freely adjusted, enabling the creation of innovative spring geometries, including simple or complex torsion spring bodies, double torsion springs, and springs with loops or tight spring indices. These machines excel in rapid setup due to the ease of retooling. Integration of laser sensors and optical measurement systems allow for quality control and production monitoring. The machine can be fitted with multi-station bending systems and WAFIOS' remote assistance and diagnostic service.

The WAFIOS FUL16 coiling machine has been designed prioritizing production of compression and torsion springs with close tolerances, delivering high performance through revolutionary design features. The new multi-cut system provides users with enhanced flexibility and operating convenience. Achieving new standards of quality is made possible by the innovative support of the coiling pin holder (PTP coiling finger) with motorized adjustment. Moreover, the motor-adjustable torsion device (3D Former) enables the production of multiple types of torsion springs using the same machine. Setup times are significantly reduced thanks to rapid and precise tool settings and CNC control.

All Wafios models in the FMU and FUL series comply with the requirements of the "Industry 4.0" regulations.
