DIAMOND 3000, the latest frontier of drawing coatings

DIAMOND 3000 is the latest addition to RTP Paganoni's range of coatings for the wire drawing industry, and one of the most innovative products on the market to date.

Tested as an alternative to HDC black ceramic coating for capstans up to 1200 mm in diameter, DIAMOND 3000 is a carbide blend specifically developed to meet all drawing requirements. The product has significant advantages such as:

- strong adherence on any type of surface;
- hardness HRC 60.0 - 66.0;
- excellent resistance to wear and heavy abrasion;
- excellent heat dispersion (as the materials of which it is composed are not insulating);
- excellent performance at an affordable price.

Refurbishment of worn out capstans
RTP Paganoni's DIAMOND 3000 coating can also be used for the refurbishment of worn-out capstans, as it restores the entire surface to optimal conditions, further extending the product's life cycle. Of course, It can also be applied to new parts to maximize their performance.
