alpMC (Mill Control)

alpMC (Mill Control)

alpMC is the best tool to respond to the ever grooving requests of maintenance, production and quality control personnel in rolling mill speed control.

It is dedicated to a wide range of users and departments:

Starting from a preliminary analysis of the process control system and of customer needs, alpMC is configured time by time, to record all the relevant data.
From ladle to casting floor, down to the single casting strands up to torch cutters, all data from all sensor and devices are collected: load cells, mould level control, primary and spray cooling system, electro magnetic stirrers, hydraulic circuits, encoders and counters as well as electrical drives data.

Analysis
By means of preconfigured layout it’s easy switching quickly between the different possible visualizations of signals and data, from a specific stand group as well as from a single stand or from any of the devices installed in line. If it’s needed, it’s possible to pause the online visualization, without stopping the data acquisition, and zoom and analyze some specific part of the graph for a first check.

Reporting
By using the report generator tool integrated in ibaAnalyzer, alpMC is able to generate detailed production reports about products and semi-products or about rolling mill line or about single machines on the line.In this way the system can satisfy the request of product quality control, the requests of programmed maintenance, process control and production.

alpMC system final target is the automation of these functions of recording, analysis, reporting, with efficiency and reliability:

Acquisition of all signal from rolling process control automation system and visualization of the online signal using preconfigured layouts.

Preconfigured Archives and analysis models.

Visualization of signal acquired online with graphic pages similar to a SCADA/HMI.

Reports generation using data coming from stored archives.

Creation of data structures and interfaces to database SQL-Server, Oracle, etc.
