Non-reactive coatings for steel rods, bars, and wire

VICAFIL TS is a range of non-reactive surface coatings based on mineral salts and developed to improve wire drawing performances. Used after either acid pickling or mechanical descaling (brushes, shot blasting), this technology allows for better pick-up of the wire-drawing soap through the creation of optimal roughness.

These formulations provide a valid alternative to phosphate coatings and are used on stainless steels and high-carbon steels for the drawing of wire, bars, and profiles as well as for cold-heading applications.

The VICAFIL TS range also offer considerable benefits:
