Corrosione e Protezione 2025

The XVI Giornate Nazionali sulla Corrosione e Protezione (National Days on Corrosion and Protection - EFC Event No. 525) is Italy’s key event for discussing scientific, technological, and industrial developments in corrosion and material protection. It will take place from June 25-27, 2025, at the Faculty of Engineering, Università Politecnica delle Marche, Ancona, Italy. The conference will be held in Italian.

Engaging presentations about corrosion and material protection

The event includes oral and poster presentations from research groups and industry professionals, fostering knowledge exchange between academia and business. Participants will have the opportunity to explore topics such as atmospheric corrosion, industrial plant protection, cathodic protection, and the impact of new technologies on corrosion resistance. Special attention will be given to sectors like Oil & Gas, infrastructure, cultural heritage, and biomedical applications. 

About the organizers of Corrosione e Protezione

The XVI National Days on Corrosion and Protection are organized by AIM, APCE, AMPP Italy Chapter, and the Università Politecnica delle Marche. AIM (Associazione Italiana di Metallurgia) promotes metallurgy in Italy, fostering research and knowledge exchange. APCE (Associazione per la Protezione dalla Corrosione Elettrochimica) focuses on electrochemical corrosion prevention, bringing together experts in material degradation and protection. AMPP (Association for Materials Protection and Performance) Italy Chapter is part of a global network dedicated to advancing materials protection. Università Politecnica delle Marche, known for its engineering faculty, contributes significant research and educational initiatives in corrosion science. This collaboration ensures a multidisciplinary approach, combining academic research with industrial expertise to tackle corrosion challenges effectively.
