FROMA was founded by Riccardo Frigerio in 1967 and since then it has been working in the metalworking field. Its main activity is the design and manufacturing of machines for the wire industry, paying special attention to welding machines for electro-welded mesh panels, customized automatic lines with multiple welding + bending and forming stations and ancillary machines.

FROMA specializes in the design and building of machines for the wire industry, in particular its output covers automatic welding machines for electro-welded mesh panels, dedicated automatic machines for multiple welding + bending + forming workings and complementary machines.

Evolution of the products made

1967-1975 Automatic machines to carry out works on small metallic components (tapping machines, punching machines, multiple transfer machines); coilers for ring and elastic washers; rolling mills and devices for cold rolling mill of metallic wire.

1976-1990
Special welding machines for electro-welded flat mesh panels.

1990-2000
Automatic lines to weld and bend components for electrical household appliances, such as dishwasher baskets, refrigerator grids, freezer baskets and burner components. Welding and bending machines for supermarket trolleys and accessories.

2000- up to now
Automatic lines for welding and bending operations, complete with ancillary stations to produce dishwasher baskets.

Froma's strengths are constant technological evolution, plain organization with production commitments and strong team spirit, which have always characterized it. At the end of 2015 Riccardo Frigerio passed away passing the baton to his three daughters who aim to continue the great professional commitment and the solid values handed down from their father.
