GF-ELTI is the result of the merger of the historic companies ELTI – specialized in the production of steelworks equipment - and General Forni - specialized in the design and construction of industrial furnaces for rolling mills, both in business since 1966 and creators of the so-called Modular Prefabrication technique.

Today, GF-ELTI is an Italy-based corporation with a well-established presence in over 30 countries. Specifically, the company operates in two business areas: on the one hand, the construction of furnaces and turnkey plants for the steel industry, aimed at meeting the needs of the entire production chain; on the other hand, the heat treatment services on third-party products, performed in a dedicated division, capable of processing pieces up to 150 tons for a production capacity of 50,000 tons/year. The offer is intended for various sectors, such as the infrastructure, automotive, energy, oil & gas, aerospace, aeronautics, petrochemical industries, and more.

GF-ELTI represents a one-stop-partner that can fully understand the needs of its customers and translate them into a complete package of products and services. Engineering, construction, commissioning, and service are the four cornerstones of their work.

The ability to innovate has always been the beating heart of GF-ELTI.
All plants are designed and manufactured in compliance with Industry 4.0 requirements.
The use of the most modern and advanced modeling, simulation, automation, supervision, and process control techniques sets each project apart and allows the company to meet the standards required by specific industry regulations.

In 2019, GF-ELTI achieved the “100 Italian Excellences” award, reserved for noteworthy Made-in-Italy entrepreneurial success stories.
