International drawing workshop: Caleotto to present a technical paper

Active in the rolling industry for more than 100 years, Caleotto is pleased to announce its participation in the International Workshop dedicated to wire, bar & tube drawing IWD 2017.

During the event, which will take place from November 30 to December 1 at the University of Bergamo, N. Bolognani and A. Parimbelli will present a technical paper called "Hot-rolled steels for special purposes: high carbon wire-rod for cold-drawing".

The Lecco-based Caleotto rolling mill has long been a leading player in the wire rod market, with an overall production capacity of 300 thousand tonnes a year. In over a century of production and development it has expanded its facilities, which now cover about 96,000 m2, with a total volume of the buildings of 770,000 m3.
