It's official, Theis to be acquired by Waelzholz

The shares of Friedr. Gustav Theis Kaltwalzwerke GmbH, the internationally renowned group manufacturing carbon, alloyed and stainless strips and profiles, have been completely acquired by the Waelzholz Group. Both companies are located in Hagen, Germany. The acquisition has obtained the approval by the antitrust authorities on July 6th and is now official.

Strategically this operation is an important step for the Waelzholz Group: the company will in fact expand its core business with high-quality cold rolled steel strip and profiles, taking over an annual sales volume of over 70,000 tons.
