A new addition to Colombo Giovanni & Figli's workshop

Colombo Giovanni & Figli, specializing in the production of turned parts according to customer drawings, announces the recent installation of a new MORI-SAY TMZ642CNC multi-spindle automatic lathe.

A very important investment for the Italian company that will certainly guarantee a considerable increase in production capacity, as well as greater flexibility when it comes to machining parts with complex geometries.

"We finally see the light," confirms Mr. Gianluca Colombo, one of the owners of the Lecco-based company. "The darkest months of the pandemic seem to be behind us and there is a great desire for recovery. We are confident that this new purchase will help us to respond even more quickly to the growing demands of the market."

Here are the main technical details of the newcomer:

- 6 spindles equipped with independent AC motors;
- 26 CNC axes;
- high precision in series machining;
- high thermal stability;
- rapid tool change;
- can machine round diameters up to 42mm and hexagonal diameters up to 36mm.

Established in Italy immediately after the war, Colombo Giovanni & Figli Srl started as an individual company for the production of turned nuts and later evolved into an automatic turning company specializing in the production of high-quality and precision turned parts according to customer’s drawing.
