Cometo presents new modular wire straightener MTF22-1 on the American market

Wire, cable and tube processing equipment, but since 2011 also wire straightening and cutting machines complete with wire payoffs. This is the product range of Cometo, that will be exhibiting at booth 1932 at Interwire 2015, presenting the new modular MTF22-1 wire straightener for the first time on the US market.

Specific for wire cutting and straightening, the MTF series is assembled on a sturdy electro-welded frame, that allows to compose the machine using straighteners of various sizes, three different types of feeders and two different sizes of cutting units.

Thanks to the straightening rollers system, this machine is suitable for processing round, square, hexagonal wires, and profiles with any other form. It lends itself to straighten materials such as steel, copper alloys or aluminum without damaging the surfaces.

The modular conception allows Cometo to optimize the production, shortening delivery times, and providing the customer the maximum freedom and speed of assembly. The straightener can be placed either before or after the feeder, and replaced in a few minutes depending on the wire or profiles to be processed.
The cutting length is extremely simple to set: simply enter the required length by typing it on the touch-screen. The feeding speed can be set on a scale ranging from 5% to 100% of the maximum allowed speed, that is 92 bars/minute considering 1000mm long bars.

A further advantage of the MTF is its extremely low noise level, a very important issue to consider for workers who have to deal with this type of machine every day.

Visit Cometo at booth 1932 at Interwire 2015 (Atlanta, USA), on April 28-30.
The owner, Mr. Pietro Tocchetti, will be present at the fair with its American representatives Lesmo Machinery America Inc. (Mr Allan Brown) and Wire Machine Systems (Mr Jay Griffith).
