How to get a clean and bright surface on raw tubes

The users of welded stainless steel tubes are increasingly demanding and the aesthetic appearance of the surface plays a primary role in the selection of the supplier. Important steps have been taken, in the latest years, towards the achievement of excellent pickled surfaces with the use of innovative treatment solutions (i.g. Descalinox P series) or with the use of electrolytic pickling plants (Condoroil Elettra series).

Today CONDOROIL is proud to announce the definition of a new series of formulations that allows, instead, to produce clean and bright raw tubes. In particular, the three main lubricating products which have been developed are the following:

The common feature of the three formulations is to leave no oily residues. The oily residues, in fact, opacify the surfaces and collect the dirt of the workshop, making cleaning necessary, often manually, after medium-long storage periods.

Moreover, metal oxides are also present among the dusts that adhere to the surfaces, which act as a trigger for corrosive phenomena. These phenomena, with the presence of an oily surface layer that prevents the maintenance of an adequate passivation film, can result in the formation of reddish lines and / or spots due to the oxidation of the material. With the use of the CONDORLUBE formulas listed above, the surface of the tube, coming out of the profile, remains bright and dry to the touch even in the case of prolonged storage time.
