FIMI Group: a new evolution for steel processing

FIMI Group was commissioned the supply of a high-performance leveling and cut-to-length line with an automated packaging system designed for high-strength strip steels.

To date, this is the most powerful line designed and produced by FIMI for processing ultra-high tensile and yield strength material at high thicknesses.

The installation of the new cutting-edge line is already underway at the Maastricht Service Centre in Feijen, Netherlands, a subsidiary of Tata Steel.

The goal of this new investment is to anticipate the future demand for abrasion-resistant and premium high-strength steels in specific markets such as construction, mining, and agriculture, as well as to better serve customers in Germany, Eastern Europe, Benelux, UK, and Nordic Region.

The new decoiler will also offer numerous advantages thanks to a quicker, more accurate, and more sustainable process.
