Electrolytic wire-plating lines now available from Lukas

Beginning from October 2019, LUKAS Anlagenbau GmbH took over Erwin Neumann Drahtveredelungstechnik GmbH, a long-standing German manufacturer of electrolytic wire-plating lines.

Thanks to this acquisition, LUKAS has significantly expanded its product portfolio – which could already count on taping lines, wire drawing machines, annealing furnaces, take-up & pay-off systems, and rewinding equipment – further strengthening its leadership position in the wire and cable market.

Here is an overview of the new additions to the catalog.

- Electrolytic wire tinning lines
- Electrolytic wire galvanizing lines
- Electrolytic wire nickel-plating lines
- Electrolytic wire silver-plating lines
- Electrolytic wire copper-plating lines

All the machines are extremely compact and can be easily adapted to every working space. Moreover, their modular design grants several different configurations (U-shape, straight line, or other special setups), allowing the simple and economic upgrading of existing lines.

Main advantages of LUKAS plating lines:

- compact modular design system;
- stainless steel frame for a long-lasting line;
- maximum efficiency thanks to an accurately engineered line design;
- easy setup, repair, and maintenance operations;
- no foundation nor flooring work required;
- advanced vacuum evaporator for waste-water free operations;
- low water consumption;
- innovative automation systems engineered according to the facility’s conditions;
- latest generation air wipe system for speeds up to 20 m/s.
