Mikrotek gearing up for a larger presence in the wire & cable world

The specialist in wire drawing dies Mikrotek is all about "drawing more" with precision, and in a cost-effective way.

Mikrotek Machines Ltd. is today a world leading manufacturer in the wire and cable field. More specifically, its current production range includes: PCD dies, natural diamond dies, synthetic single crystal diamond dies, enameling dies, bunching-stranding-compacting dies, tungsten carbide dies, tungsten carbide taper inserts, nano dies, a complete range of extrusion dies and tools, as well as consumables and die making and inspection machines.

Mikrotek diamonds are sintered combining nano alloy metal powders. This helps provide faster heat transfer and enable the dies to retain size and geometry for a longer time, all while also enabling wire drawing at better speeds! The company machine shop is also continuously being upgraded with more automation for higher accuracies and shorter cycle times. Lean Six Sigma, IoT, and Industry 4.0 are used very effectively to deliver high-quality products at optimum process cost. The products can be customized as per customer demands in different areas and segments, both in soft-wire and hard-wire. Mirkotek boasts a well-established presence in all types of materials: stainless steel, steel alloys, rungsten, aluminum, copper, gold, silver, platinum etc

The company seeks to reach any customer in the world looking for wire drawing die products – be it dies of all types, die making machines, consumables, training & consultancy and reconditioning of dies of any make – all under one roof.

This is possible thanks to its already extensive presence: “We are already present in the USA, Mexico, Canada, Middle East, South East Asia and Russian markets, covering in total more than 35 countries. We are fast getting into newer markets where we are yet to be represented. We have taken strategic steps to further expand into the Middle East and the American markets. Going forward, we will be having our service centers in India catering to the domestic and South East Asia and USA region, as well as in Europe and the Middle East,” states Kamal Babu, CEO and owner of Mikrotek.

The next occasion to meet Mikrotek will be at the upcoming wire India trade show, slated to run November 23-25 at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai. The corporate staff will be waiting for you at Booth G17, Hall 1!
