Nuova Defim, COR-TEN gabions for a project in Catalonia

A new project abroad

Recently, the company has supplied COR-TEN steel gabions for the construction of the external walls of a prestigious, completely ecological villa in Sant Celoni, Spain.

The goal was to demonstrate that even low environmental impact materials can be the right solution for an elegant project. More specifically, Nuova Defim's Spanish partner MUROXS has chosen COR-TEN steel gabion to build the external walls of the villa in Catalonia. More than 3000 ø3.9 mm gabions with 100x50 mm and 100x100 mm meshes and about 4000 COR-TEN tie-rods have created a perfect combination that ensures eco-compatibility, ease of construction, and high energy class.
