Nuova Defim to target foreign markets: completed the acquisition of the Spanish Saexpa

Nuova Defim to target foreign markets: completed the acquisition of the Spanish Saexpa

Nuova Defim scores yet another point: the company, part of Feralpi Group, has recently taken over the Spanish Saexpa, a leading wire and strip processing company in the logistics field.

Founded in 1985, Saexpa was able to seize the changes in the market (more specifically about e-commerce), thus developing storage and racking solutions for vertical warehouses. The choice proved to be a winning one, the Spanish company has significantly expanded its market share in Europe, recording a turnover of more than 16 million euros, a team of 77 professionals, two manufacturing plants, and customers in more than 30 countries worldwide.

This important acquisition marks the beginning of a new chapter for Nuova Defim, characterized by a strong internationalization, and verticalization in a sector - the logistics - of high profits. This will also strengthen production and sales, and enhance and optimize its market understanding.

The deal is even more interesting in view of the company's business plan, which includes product and segment diversification, strengthening customer service, and maximizing market share. All without ever neglecting quality.

Both highly flexible and highly customizable, Nuova Defim, and Saexpa can rely on complementary plant assets, mutually benefiting from collaboration. All these premises suggest that the acquisition does not represent a point of arrival, but rather a new beginning.
