ORT Italia introduces a new profile rolling center

ORT Italia is pleased to present its most innovative rolling center, the 2MS5 CNC.

It has been designed to roll different kinds of parts such as worm screws, ACME and metric threads, splines, knurlings, ball screws and many other profiles.

It is a completely automated line of production that can work with very large range of diameters as well as lengths of the work pieces. The Loading device is made of a step by step conveyor and the feeding of the machine is operated by a 6-axis robot. The same unit provides the unloading of the finished parts to a discharge conveyor.

Thanks to the possibility of saving all the main parameters of the machine and to a very easy mechanical adjustment of the complete line, the changeover of production is very simple and fast. The center is equipped with a cooling system made of industrial chiller to keep a constant temperature level.
