Trafilerie di Malavedo is a real piece of history on the Italian wire drawing scene. For more than a century, the company has been manufacturing wire for cold forming and other special processes.

Trafilerie di Malavedo boasts an in-house department specializing in annealing operations.
Thanks to the advanced bell-type furnaces, the company can perform both bright annealing, (that is in a controlled atmosphere containing inert gasses), and black annealing (without inert gasses). The processes can be performed both at standard temperatures or at special conditions upon customer’s request. Furthermore, each annealing cycle is managed and verified by automated programs that record each step for a better monitoring of any possible deviation.

The annealed wire produced by Trafilerie di Malavedo is intended for the manufacture of a wide range of items (screws, small parts, staples, nails, wire nets, ropes, plastic-coated wire, and so on) and can be supplied in rolls, wire carriers, or spools of different sizes according to customer requirements.
