Let's take stock with Tramev

Tramev has been a leading player in the wire and cable industry for over 40 years. The company offers a wide range of shears and is specialized in the construction of machines and accessories such as decoilers, coil tippers, compactors; and in second-hand machines revamping. To Cristian Saraceno, Sales Manager, and Davide Roda, Sales Account, we asked some questions, to get a close look at this reality and to feel the pulse of the situation.

Which geographical areas are you focusing on at the moment, and which ones seem the most promising for the future?
India is a country on which we are investing time and resources and that is actually giving us important satisfactions. For the rest, our reference markets remain Europe, USA and Canada.

You Attend several trade show and events throughout the year. How much do they affect your business strategy?
Rather than affect, I would say that they are an integral part of the Tramev commercial strategy. The trade shows such as wire & Tube or Fastener Fair allow us to periodically meet customers and representatives to discuss about new products, etc. I must say that over time also our business partners have followed us and now started to propose fairs to attend around the world.

Where do your competitors come from? What makes you different from them?
We have competitors all around the world and especially in Asia. However, at the moment, our production range is certainly more complete than the competition and our machines (100% made in Italy) have a longer life. Often the customer's choice is also affected by the assistance that we guarantee world wide thanks to the repair centers we have in South America, Canada, India and the USA (in addition to Tramev for Europe).
