Koradi, specializing in the design and manufacture of metal wire and strip processing plants, is renowned throughout Europe for the numerous innovations introduced in this field. In fact, the company was the first in the world to launch a fully electronic and CAM-less wire bending machine back in 1999.
Many years later, Koradi is still oozing with creativity: the company has recently completed a new and innovative electronic bending machine for wire and strip. It is a modular unit, customizable according to the customer requirements, with variable 10/20/30 / 60t CNC linear axis. The machine also features several configurations from 13 to 82kN and different types of CNC torques.
The new bender can be configured in three modes: EasyPower, EasyCam and EasyScrew, with CNC linear axes, electronically adjustable strokes and speeds:
- EasyPower CNC bending unit, linear hydraulic axes, with power from 13 to 82 kN and stroke ranging between 70 or 130mm. Crucial when a constant pushing force is required across the entire stroke. Accuracy +/- 0.02mm.
- EasyCam CNC bending unit, electronic linear axes, with 35 kN power and 55 mm stroke. Featuring high speed, minimum consumption and high power on the stroke end. Accuracy +/- 0.01mm.
- EasyScrew CNC bending unit, electronic linear axes, with power of 25 kN and stroke ranging between 70 or 130mm. Featuring high speed, minimum fuel consumption and constant power across the entire stroke. Accuracy +/- 01mm.
The elimination of CAM assemblies offers several advantages, the most prominent being a drastic reduction in set-up times, which translates directly into a large increase in production capacity; all without causing loss of precision.
Designed with the Industry 4.0 prerogatives in mind, the new wire bending machine is already available on the market.
