Expometals.net’s Champions League: the top 10 companies of 2020

2020 has been hard on everyone, and I guess we all agree no one is going to miss it. The Covid-19 breakout and ensuing market fluctuations have left quite a scar on the world economy. Global pandemic and end of the civilized world aside, 2020 has also been a year of awareness and innovation, bringing to the forefront crucial environmental issues and popularizing remote working practices with a distinct shift towards digitalization.

As with every year’s end, it’s time for us at expometals.net to take stock of this 2020 and share some of our data with you. So, without further ado, we present you here the top 10 most visited companies of 2020 on expometals.net. Compared to last year, we have some major shake-ups and quite a few new entries.

Claiming 1st place this year as well, Bongard Trading (Germany) is the well-known German supplier of second-hand machinery for wire and cable processing. Following closely at the 2nd place, is Inosym (New Zealand), a global supplier of reels for the wire and cable industries. Closing our top 3 we have a welcome new entry ABS, the steelmaking division of the Danieli Group, who has also recently inaugurated the world's largest wire rod mill.

Another new entry at 4th place, Eurolls was the first to produce micro, modular, traditional, and custom-made wire drawing cassettes. The 5th place is claimed by Cometo, the Italy-based manufacturer of equipment for the wire and cable industry. At positions number 6 and 7, we have yet two new brand name entries: Schnell Group, the world leader in the production of wire processing equipment and machines for the production of electro-welded mesh, ranks 6th; while the roll forming machines expert Dallan ranks 7th.

The fastener manufacturer Specialinsert climbs up a little, establishing itself at 8th place, while cold heading and wire drawing lubricant expert Condat (France) takes up the 9th position. Last but not least, Niehoff (Germany), one of the biggest names in the wire industry, seals the final available position in the major league.

Congratulations to all these and other companies that exhibit their products and share their news every day on expometals.net.
