WAI decides not to hold Wire Expo 2020 in June

On March 19, 2020 the Wire Association International (WAI), Inc. has reported that its Board of Directors decided not to hold the WAI Operations Summit & Wire Expo 2020, which was originally planned for June 3-4, 2020, at the Mohegan Sun Resort Casino in Uncasville, CT, USA.

The difficult but necessary decision came after discussing concerns about how COVID-19 may impact upcoming association activities and due to the "uncertainty about the trajectory of the virus". WAI is investigating the availability of new event dates and/or modifications to the event format and will keep its constituents informed of progress as new information becomes available.
