Multiwire pay-offs systems.
Eurolls provides, Pay-off systems with a horizontal axis for medium and high carbon steel wire in spools, particularly suitable for annealing, patenting, galvanizing, coppering and brassing lines. We can provide multiple construction solutions with a structure made of bent and welded steel sheets. Our machines can be set up in groups with single or double working sides. Portal structures are affixed with a take-up spool, supported by pneumatically operated retractable cone-shaped pins. The wire coming from the treatment plant is pulled by means of a capstan with either a cylindrical surface or “V”-shaped groove, mounted horizontally on the frame over the spool, and activated by an adjustable speed AC-motor with inverter acting as a master for the corresponding pay-off system. In special cases, we can provide a machine with a single motor drive, with multiple take- up units, (via a single drive shaft), with a power transmission to each position. In this case, they all work at the same speed. Subsequently, the wire is collected on the underlying spool, the rotation of which is governed by an AC-motor with inverter. The two pulling and spooling motors are electronically synchronized.
The wire is wound in layers by a pneumatic wire guide driven by the spooling motor. If non-stop operation is required, the AP version is available and is equipped with a motorized double accumulation block, with a motorized intermediate flyer disk. It is completed by support and guide rolls positioned along the structure to direct the wires to the treatment plant.
Multiwire take-ups systems.
Eurolls can provide static vertical Take-up systems for low, medium and high carbon steel wires in pattern-laid coils, for non-stop operation. The Take-ups are manufactured with a modular construction, with support structures made of steel sections with single or double working sides. Each position comprises the pulling unit under which, on the floor, there is a coil trolley which can be pulled out on slides. The trolley is equipped with a motorized rotating plate with an inclined axis and wire containment rolls. The wire is wound on a ring with V-shaped grooves by means of a rotating plate onto which are mounted the deflecting pulleys and the double wire straighteners. An accumulation system composed of four pneumatically operated arms, under the rotating plate, make it possible to replace the wire carrier without stopping the plant operation. It is complete with guide pulleys, which are positioned along the structure to direct the wires to the treatment plant as well as an access walkway to facilitate insertion operations.
