FIMED Sas supplies a wide range of tools and equipment for the cold forming industry: cylindrical and assembled dies (with cylindrical or shaped holes) for open and trapped extrusion, and punches of all types. Established at the end of the ‘50s in Italy as an artisan workshop, the company has been growing and evolving over time, specializing in the production of increasingly complex equipment.
A valid example of this is the exclusive Italian representation for OGHEX – hexagonal carbide inserts – since 1995.
FIMED products are engineered according to the customer's drawing, with particular attention to the final finishing and hand polishing of the surfaces. Each single piece undergoes these operations, resulting in more life cycles, better sliding of the material and excellent final results. In addition, continuous investments in new machinery and technology have been allowing the company to improve its production processes and provide better and better tools.
Every machining operation is monitored and controlled by a state-of-the-art computer system, which allows to trace individual orders, verify the correct use of materials, and ensure that every tool is processed to perfection. This perfection also shines through the raw materials used, which come only from the best European and international manufacturers.
The company operates under a certified quality system, according to ISO 9001:2000.
