Talleres Saspi is a well-known specialist in the manufacture and supply of advanced solutions for the production of fasteners. The market outlets are many and include aerospace, automotive, industrial and construction fields. Thanks to a highly-skilled technical staff, the company can also refurbish and overhaul old fastener machines, updating them to comply with the strictest international regulations.

The company was founded in 1961 in Azkoitia (Spain) by seven partners with the name SASPI, which actually derives from the Basque word for seven, zazpi. Since its inception, the company has always had the feeling that the national market was way too limited for the type of machines they produced. Hence they decided to venture into uncharted territory, trying to tap into the potential of foreign markets.

A change in management in 1986 led the company to a further growth, with the expansion of the production range and a great increase in exports. The constant investments in technology and upgrades have allowed Saspi to stay on top over the years, showing great resiliency and adaptability to the continuous and unpredictable shifts of market.

Today Saspi boasts more than 50 years of success and innovation in the fasteners industry and currently exports its machinery to more than 15 countries all over Europe and outside.
