Sika is a high-tech company specialized in the cold roll-forming of metal sheet, backed by a long standing experience in the domestic markets.
Sika produces both open and welded special profiles according to customer’s specifications. Specific requests and ideas are transformed into customized design and finally into real metal sections to be then used for fabricating products belonging exclusively to the Customers’ invention.
Sika employs flexible and reliable machinery, each with specific technical features allowing to use strip widths up to 600 mm and thickness from mm.0,5 to mm.4 and different types of raw materials inlcuding cold rolled strip, hot rolled strip, stainless steel, hot dip zinc coated strip, electrolytically zinc coated strip, painted steel strip, aluminium, copper and brass besides the materials with higher resistance to corrosion, such as CORTEN, Zinc-Magnesium, Magnelis. The production system consists in a cold roll-forming process through an on-going bending of a metal strip which is deformed by a set of successive rollers up to the required final shape.
Closed sections can be either mechanically seamed or welded with HF induction process.
Any perforations, slots or other special processing are carried out through electronic check-system either on the flat strip prior to forming or on the section after forming.
