InnoVites strengthens its Asian presence at wire China 2026
Wire and cable manufacturing is becoming increasingly data-driven: production teams are focusing on visibility into what is happening on the shop floor, engineering teams are accessing reliable product data, and management is focusing on systems that connect rather than create another information silo.
These are some of the conversations InnoVites will bring to wire China 2026, where the company will exhibit at Stand E1B68-7 and also contribute to the conference program.

The individual products address different parts of a cable manufacturer's operation, but the bigger story is how information moves between them.
A cable begins as a customer requirement. That requirement has to become an accurate design and quotation. Once an order is placed, engineering data needs to flow into planning and production. Materials, lengths, drums, machines and production orders all have to be coordinated. And once manufacturing begins, what actually happens on the factory floor needs to feed back into the rest of the business.
When those stages operate in isolation, manufacturers spend considerable effort reconciling information between systems and departments. Connecting them creates a much more useful digital foundation.
cableCORE DesignCenter addresses the engineering side of that process. It helps cable manufacturers structure product and design data, reuse existing designs, improve collaboration between sales and engineering, and move more efficiently from customer inquiry to an accurate cable design and quotation. AI-assisted capabilities are also being introduced to reduce repetitive engineering work and help users work more effectively with existing product knowledge.
cableERP, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central, extends ERP with capabilities specific to the wire and cable industry. These include length-based inventory and production, drum and reel management, production planning, and price checks for volatile raw materials such as copper and aluminum.
On the manufacturing floor, cableCORE MES provides the execution layer; It connects production orders, machines, operators, materials, quality processes, and production events, giving manufacturers a clearer view of what is actually happening during production.
The objective is not simply to digitize each department separately, but rather to to create a more connected flow of information across the cable manufacturing business.
From production data to better decisions
This idea will also be explored in InnoVites’ presentation at wire China. Mitesh Zatakiya, Senior MES Expert in the wire and cable industry, will present “From Shop-Floor Data to AI-Driven Manufacturing Decisions” on 23rd September at 12:00 – 12:30.
AI is attracting considerable attention in manufacturing, but for many cable producers the more immediate opportunity lies in making better use of the production data they already have or could have.
In many cable plants, important information remains spread across machines, PLCs, operator inputs, paper records, spreadsheets, and separate systems. Production reports may tell management what happened after a shift has finished but provide limited help when a problem is developing in real time. A Manufacturing Execution System (MES) changes that by creating a consistent layer of shop-floor information.
Production progress, machine status, downtime, setup time, scrap, quality results, material usage, and traceability events can all become part of the same operational picture. Once that information is captured consistently, manufacturers can move from simply collecting data to using it.
- OEE can reveal where productive capacity is being lost.
- Downtime analysis can identify recurring causes rather than treating every stoppage as an isolated incident.
