Easydur machines for testing railway springs and dampers return to InnoTrans
From September 22 to 25, 2026, Easydur will once again attend InnoTrans, the leading international trade fair for transport technology. In the year marking the Berlin event’s 30th anniversary, the Italian company will once again be among the exhibitors, ready to meet manufacturers and professionals from the international railway industry.
Railway dampers and springs put to the test at InnoTrans
Two Easydur machines will be operating at Stand 710, Hall 23, where visitors will be able to see them in action.
The first is the FAT – Damper Tester, an electromechanical machine developed to perform dynamic and fatigue tests on dampers, shock absorbers, and similar components. The system measures forces in extension and compression and, thanks to its rotating structure, allows carrying out tests at different angles. For railway applications, a key feature is compliance with EN 13802, the reference standard for damper testing.
Alongside the damper tester, Easydur will showcase Aura Chasse, its solution for compression testing of railway springs. The machine can analyze parameters such as axial, transverse, and lateral stiffness, deflection, bow angle, and lateral forces. The system is designed to perform tests in accordance with railway standards EN 13298 and EN 13913, the latter applying to conical springs.
Testing solutions for a highly regulated industry
Easydur’s presence at InnoTrans confirms the railway industry as one of the company’s key application sectors. Easydur develops systems for testing coil springs, leaf springs, dampers, railway bogies, and other components, with solutions designed to meet the industry’s specific regulatory requirements.
The range also includes systems for bogie testing in accordance with DIN 25043-7, leaf spring testing machines in accordance with UIC 821:2003 and DIN 2094, and dedicated solutions for hardness testing of railway wheels.
