EASYDUR: Rotary robot for springs

ROTARY ROBOT is a completely automatic and robotic system for the control and selection of almost every family of springs. It is equipped with an high-speed robotic arm, a rotating table and an innovative spring loading system and pneumatic clamps that permit frictionless free-state spring measurement.   The vibrating spring-loader system is a versatile and innovative solution because is suitable for almost every spring families, especially for small quantities. It is composed by a vibrating feeder with programmed vibrations and a camera recognition system that can manage the springs flow and on the meantime, identify the free springs for the robot to take.

The rotating table is actioned by a special direct drive brushless motor, with degrees-absolute division and a thousandths of degree repeatability so, in case of collision, the table has an extremely low kinetics force.

The table can be customized with different stations as a spring-loading one, a presetting station, a vision-system station for measures with specific telecentric lenses for free length measurement, diameters and grinding defects, springtester station able to perform high accuracy tests as ‘go to load’, ‘go to position’, stiffness tests, etc. and a spring sorting station with automatic sorter up to 13 ways.
