OMAG's durometers

OMAG's durometers. The common characteristic of OMAG's instruments is the possibility of adding, when not already included as standard, special software for statistics, data export and remote management. All the instruments implement technical solutions that make the instrument itself insensitive to part subsidence during the test; in addition, many of them are completely automatic and managed by advanced electronics with closed loop cycle control. We hereby present 4 models. For more information, please click on "More..." and then visit Omag's website. Wiki30 Automatic instrument designed for Brinell and Vickers hardness tests (both individual and seam) on pipes with diameter ranging from 100 to 900mm. Being a portable instrument, it has been designed to be particularly light and strong; the special shape of the stand makes available both: a flat resting surface for tests on items with parallel sides, and a ā€œVā€ surface, for centering of tubular items. The peculiarity of this instrument is the user friendliness; infact the "Wiki" family (Wiki30-Wikil00) is fully automatic; thanks to the auto-focus capability, once you have started the measuring cycle, the instrument will autonomously carry out the test and then it will analyze the impression showing the hardness value, properly calculated, on the PC monitor. eXplorer This wireless instrument has been designed for Rockwell hardness tests, directly on material being machined. The peculiarity of this instrument is the possibility of being mounted on board of a CNC machine as a normal tool; this means that it is possible to exploit the features of the CNC machine itself and prepare the test surface without moving the workpiece, especially in case of bulky workpieces. The instrument features a 16bits electronics and a data transmission to the CPU via radio. ARM This fully automatic wireless instrument has been designed for Rockwell hardness tests on camshafts. The peculiarity of this durometers is a measuring head fastened to a robotic arm; this allows running tests even on points difficult to reach; moreover, it is an optimum solution for the test, even in series, of camshafts or particular profiles where the handling of workpiece could be difficult. The instrument, thanks to its versatility, can be used in different fields. DakoMaster This fully automatic wireless instrument has been designed for Brinell, Rockwell, Superficial Rockwell and Vickers (loads: 9.81 to 2452.5N) in laboratory environment. The instrument has been conceived to be of small size, but mainly user friendly. It has a measuring head of reduced dimensions, so it can be used also for hardness tests for the internal wall of tubular items; the whole instrument is managed by a PC with large display.
