REGG Rolling unveils VR300HD high-speed cylindrical thread rolling machine for aerospace fasteners
REGG Rolling, a division of REGG Inspection, has been designing and manufacturing high precision two and three-dies thread rolling machines for more than a decade.
The company produces robust cylindrical thread rolling machines for cold and warm rolling of high-strength materials such as 12.9 steel, titanium, Inconel and other exotic alloys. The machines are equipped with CNC FANUC or SIEMENS controls.
Introducing VR300HD: a new generation of thread-rolling technology for aerospace applications
After some research and in collaboration with their Aerospace customers, REGG Rolling has developed its brand-new rolling machine belonging to the VR-Series, the VR300HD. Operating at high speed, the machine elevates the production capabilities while maintaining consistent quality performances and is ideal to warm roll low-medium volume of aerospace fasteners.
The VR300HD Rolling Machine applies a maximum rolling pressure of 30 tons and features two vertical spindles that are CNC-controlled by a hydraulic cylinder and two brushless motors. This machine can roll fully or partially threaded parts from ¼” up to 1” diameter and a maximum length of 4”. The typical set-up time is 15–30 minutes.
The REGG Rolling VR300HD machine is widely used for fine pitch and special thread applications, delivering high performance while reducing floor space requirements and mechanical complexity thanks to its compact layout.
