The spring tester developed by IABG can be used on springs deployed as components in automobiles. Automotive springs are subject to a very high degree of stress and different environmental conditions. It is of utmost importance to test their behavior under realistic load and ambient conditions, that's why IABG offers a spring testing machine able to perform fatigue tests in both a saltwater corrosion environment and a normal laboratory atmosphere. This kind of spring tester using the principle of resonance is accepted by all relevant international car manufacturers.

Some of the factors that influence the performance of automotive springs and that can be measured through this testing machinery are: mechanical load in combination with stone impact, abrasion and wear.

The spring testing machine mod. CSTM requires low maintenance and allows to save on time and costs by performing tests on the spring fatigue strength both in dry and wet conditions.
