Variable Test Rig for Resilient Components (VTRC)

IABG’s test rig is able to perform tests on sway bars, automotive springs and other spring components of vehicles under near-service conditions in one test bench. The main features of the test bench are its flexibility and energy saving drive concepts, which replace the standard hydraulic. This test bench offers the chance to determine fatigue strength under various climate conditions, e.g. salt water, humidity and temperature, in a cost and time saving way.

The testing of automotive sway bars can be performed with original stabilizer bar bearings and in full axle configuration. The same is suitable for spring testing. Springs can be tested in combination of all necessary original parts and in full axle configuration.
