GMP Slovakia: Customized reels
GMP Slovakia is worldwide leader in the production of steel reels, drums and handling equipments. The manufacturing department is located in Slovakia, in the heart of Europe, very close European customers but also to extra European customers thanks to the closeness to the main international seaports. The industrial area is 130.000 mq of which 32.000 mq are covered. In the manufacturing departments there are traditional art machineries and high technology machineries as welding robots, CNC turning machines, 1000 Ton presses, balancing machines up to Ø 1600 mm. All operators are skilled and continuously trained; this is the strength of GMP Slovakia, the great experienced people who are employed in this market from several years. All manufacturers are able to supply their products, but the difference between GMP Slovakia and the others is the know how. GMP Slovakia is always able to understand customer’s requests suggesting which is the right product for their need. Every customer is different from the other and have to be followed in detail before and after sales; GMP Slovakia can do this. GMP Slovakia's range of products includes many different items including drums for cable and rope available in reinforced version for process or in lightweight version for transportation. Can be supplied in knock down conditions to reduce transport cost. There are two kinds available: SD-Structural Drum with flat flange and CD-Corrugated Drum with corrugated flange. Both types can be reinforced on barrel and flanges for drum twister process. Besides these reels, GMP Slovakia also manufactured special equipments of different dimensions: tilting devices up to 5 tons loading capacity, lifting devices to handle both reels, drums and coils in vertical or horizontal position. Dolly bases and skid rolls are also available, such as every kind of equipment according to every customer’s request.
