GMP Slovakia is worldwide leader in the production of metal reels, take apart reels, handling equipments for reels and coils and it is evolved in the special project of steel structural works and carpentry. Manufacturing unit is located in Pribenik, Slovakia, in the heart of Europe. In the image, an 8.6 mt drum. In the manufacturing department we find high quality and technology machines, included CNC lathe machine, welding robots, up to 5 Ton presses.
The range of products is really wide, and includes reels for small diameter wires of different material i.e. steel, copper, aluminium, optical fibres, and big drums for infrastructure and off shore cables. For these application GMP Slovakia suggests reels type SD-Structural Drum and CD-Corrugated Drum. Both models can be supplied in reinforced version for process or in light version for transport.
Reels can be also supplied in knock down condition to safe transport costs. Fully or outside flange painting are standard, but reels can be also supplied zinc coated. Optional are static or dynamic balancing, hardened changeable bushings, lifting hooks, slots for fixing the cable. Dimensions can be as per DIN standard but can be customized also according to customer’s request, to type of material winded, to application and to loading capacity.
